The Foundation of Every Service: The Phase 0 "Bedrock Audit"
Every engagement begins with an exhaustive diagnostic phase. We’ll review the student’s complete historical profile—diagnoses, testing, past academic performance, etc. We’ll also create a “Support Density Profile” that includes all of the “invisible” scaffolding currently holding the student up (which is often in the form of help from tutors and/or parents). In this phase, we’ll also have frank discussions about student mental health. Phase 0 concludes with a formal, custom Accommodation & Support Optimization Plan, outlining recommended additions and modifications to existing supports and accommodations.
1. Middle & High School EF Consulting
We allocate a deliberate, unhurried timeline to education and identity alignment. By demystifying the prefrontal cortex’s dopamine constraints, we disarm academic shame before modifying software or devices. Among other things, students learn how to activate task initiation via the PINCH method, configure app blockers (Freedom, AppBlock, or the Brick hardware modifier), and master the low-friction Noun-Verb technique to reduce processing loads.
Parental Guidance & Integration: Concludes with a Parent-Student Non-Interference Agreement, ensuring that the student has the autonomous space needed to execute their system.
2. College EF Consulting
The Focus: Re-engineering structural workflows to successfully navigate a university's asynchronous, fragmented schedule.
The Strategy: Students learn to bypass the emotional threat responses of task freeze and Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD). We construct a customized, digital "Second Brain" to completely offload active working memory and build a 5-Tier Campus Location Arsenal to match high-cognitive tasks to optimal focus environments.
The Outcome: The student shifts from reactive crisis-management to operating as the clear, self-directed CEO of their academic career, completely independent of parent management.
